Hello all:
The Mike Dragna family rode the storm out at home here in Old Mandeville. We escaped any major damages this time just debris. The lake came up 2-3 blocks this time and stayed up for most of 2 days due to strong south winds. Our power came back on last night around 9:30pm and that was good. Have loaned my generator out to others in the area that do not have power. Traveling down to check in my dad and other family in my hometown of Morgan City. God was good to us again.
Mike Dragna
john and emily mccants are safe! if you need anything, please contact john on his cell phone at 985-778-9810. much love!
The Melendez family is back home safely with power at the house. God's hand of protection was on us the whole way there and back. On the way to Huntsville, we had 2 tires go bad and the van started shaking. We made it on a prayer. Coming back after dark during the last stretch, the battery was going dead and the headlights wouldn't work right. I turned them off to give the alternator a chance to recharge the battery, but that meant following behind a semi-truck in the dark. Again on a prayer, the battery and headlights starting again. Thank you God for watching over us.
Michael
Hey Trinity!
This is Karen Hornak. I evacuated (?) to Muscle Shoals to spend the weekend with friends from my Atlanta days. The trip was planned for months, so it was a perfect diversion. I arrived home on Wednesday to nothing more that branches down, I had power and the cable just came back this morning. So, this is life in LA, huh??! If anyone needs anything please email or call: 249-6330. Looking forward to seeing everyone on Sunday. God is soo good!!
Karen
